1. About Us and These Terms

This website, sundeepkochar.com, is owned and operated by Planets by Sundeep Kochar (OPC) Pvt Ltd, a One Person Company incorporated in India with its registered office at 2nd Floor, Spaces, Inspire Hub, Adani Western Heights, 2030, JP Road, Four Bungalows, Andheri West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400053.

In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Planets by Sundeep Kochar (OPC) Pvt Ltd. "You" refers to any person accessing this website or booking a consultation. "Consultation" means any astrological consultation, horoscope analysis, palmistry reading, face reading or kundli matching session provided by us, whether in person, by telephone, by video call or by any other means.

These Terms apply to your use of this website and to every consultation you book. Our Privacy Policy and Refund and Return Policy form part of these Terms.

By using this website or booking a consultation, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or book a consultation.

2. Nature of Our Services

2.1 What we provide

We provide astrological consultations based on Vedic astrology, palmistry and face reading. Consultations are conducted personally by Sundeep Kochar.

Consultations are interpretive in nature. They are intended to offer perspective, context and a sense of timing to support your own thinking about decisions you are considering.

2.2 What we do not provide — please read this section carefully

Astrological guidance is not professional advice. Nothing said in a consultation, published on this website, or communicated by us constitutes:

2.3 No guarantee of outcomes

We do not guarantee, promise or warrant any particular result, outcome or future event.

Astrology indicates tendencies, patterns and periods. It does not determine what will happen. Events depend on many factors, including your own decisions and actions, the decisions of others, and circumstances beyond anyone's knowledge or control.

You are solely responsible for every decision you take. We accept no responsibility for any decision you make, or decline to make, following a consultation, or for any consequence of such a decision.

2.4 We do not sell remedies

We do not sell gemstones, yantras, talismans, amulets or any other article, and we do not perform, arrange or charge for pujas, rituals or ceremonies. Where a practical suggestion is discussed during a consultation, it is offered as guidance only and involves no payment to us.

We are not responsible for any product or service you purchase from any third party, whether or not it was discussed during a consultation.

2.5 Editorial and published content

Horoscope columns, blog articles, videos, podcast episodes and social media content published by or featuring Sundeep Kochar are general in nature. They are written for a broad readership, are not based on your individual birth chart, and do not constitute personal advice. They are provided for general interest only.

3. Eligibility

3.1 Age

You must be at least 18 years old to book a consultation or transact on this website.

3.2 Consultations concerning a minor

We may discuss matters relating to a person under 18 — for example a child's education or career direction — only where the consultation is booked by that child's parent or legal guardian, and only with that parent or guardian present or participating.

Where you provide the birth details of a minor, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian, or that you have the express consent of the parent or legal guardian to do so.

3.3 Consultations concerning another adult

Where you provide the birth details, photographs or personal information of any other adult — for example a prospective spouse in a kundli matching consultation — you confirm that you are authorised to do so, and you accept responsibility for having obtained any consent required. We rely on that confirmation and are not obliged to verify it.

4. Booking, Fees and Payment

4.1 Fees

Current fees for each type of consultation are published on the relevant service page of this website. Fees for clients in India are inclusive of GST. Fees for international clients are quoted in USD.

We may revise our fees at any time. The fee applicable to your consultation is the one confirmed to you at the time of booking.

4.2 Payment

Payment in full is required in advance to confirm a booking. A booking is confirmed only when payment has been received and we have issued written confirmation.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not receive or store your complete card details. Your use of a payment provider is subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policy, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

4.3 Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds

Cancellation, rescheduling and refund terms are set out in our Refund and Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

5. Your Responsibilities

5.1 Accuracy of information

Astrological analysis depends entirely on the accuracy of the birth details you provide. You are responsible for supplying an accurate date of birth, time of birth and place of birth.

Where birth details are inaccurate, incomplete or approximate, any analysis based on them may be affected. We are not responsible for the consequences of an analysis based on incorrect information, and no refund arises on that ground.

5.2 Photographs

Where palmistry or face reading is to be included in a remote consultation, you are responsible for providing clear, current and unaltered photographs. We may decline to offer palmistry or face reading where the images provided are inadequate.

5.3 Conduct

You agree to conduct yourself courteously during any consultation. We may end a consultation immediately, without refund, where a person is abusive, threatening, intoxicated, or behaves in a manner we consider inappropriate.

5.4 Technical arrangements for remote consultations

For consultations conducted remotely, you are responsible for arranging a suitable device, a stable internet or telephone connection, and a private environment. Time lost to failures on your side is not refunded or extended, though we will use reasonable efforts to complete the session where time permits.

5.5 Punctuality

Consultations begin and end at their scheduled times. Time lost to late arrival is not extended or refunded.

6. Confidentiality

6.1 Our obligation

We treat the content of every consultation as confidential. We do not disclose your identity or anything discussed during your consultation to any third party, except where disclosure is required by law or by a competent authority, or is necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

6.2 Client names and testimonials

We do not publish or confirm the identity of any client without their consent. Where a client has consented to a testimonial or to being named, that consent governs the extent of the disclosure.

Any reference on this website or in any publication to a person having consulted Sundeep Kochar is published on the basis that consent was obtained or that the information is already in the public domain.

6.3 Recording

You may record your own consultation for your personal reference.

Any recording is for your personal use only. You may not publish, broadcast, upload, circulate or otherwise make available any recording, transcript or extract of a consultation, in whole or in part, on any platform or to any third party, without our prior written consent.

We do not routinely record consultations. Where a session is recorded by us, we will tell you.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our content

All content on this website — text, copy, images, photographs, logos, video, audio, podcast recordings, horoscope columns, blog articles, graphics, design and layout — is owned by us or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws.

"Planets by Sundeep Kochar", the name Sundeep Kochar as used in connection with astrological services, and our logo are our marks. You may not use them without our prior written consent.

7.2 Permitted use

You may view and print content from this website for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may share links to our pages.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, adapt, translate, distribute, sell, or use for any commercial purpose any content from this website, and you may not use any content to train, fine-tune or develop any artificial intelligence or machine learning system, without our prior written consent.

7.3 Your material

You retain ownership of the birth details, photographs and information you provide. You grant us a limited licence to use that material for the sole purpose of conducting your consultation and maintaining our records.

We do not use your photographs for marketing, publication or any purpose other than your consultation, without your express written consent.

8. Impersonation and Unauthorised Representation

Sundeep Kochar is a public figure, and accounts, profiles, websites and messaging numbers falsely claiming to represent him or this practice have appeared from time to time.

No other person, agent, intermediary, astrologer or organisation is authorised to represent us, accept payments on our behalf, book consultations on our behalf, or offer services in our name.

We accept no liability for any loss suffered as a result of dealing with any person or entity not listed above. If you are approached by anyone claiming to represent us through any other channel, or asked to make payment to any account other than one confirmed to you by us directly, please verify with us before proceeding.

9. Website Availability and Accuracy

We aim to keep this website available and its content accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

We may modify, suspend or withdraw any part of this website at any time without notice.

This website may link to third-party websites, including publications carrying Sundeep Kochar's horoscope columns. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.

11.1 Extent of our liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with any consultation, or your use of this website, whether in contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise, is limited to the amount you actually paid to us for the consultation to which the claim relates.

11.2 Exclusions

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of anticipated savings, or loss of or damage to reputation, arising out of or in connection with a consultation or your use of this website.

We are not liable for any loss arising from a decision you took, or declined to take, following a consultation.

11.3 What we do not limit

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

11.4 Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights

Where you are a consumer, these Terms operate in addition to and do not diminish any right available to you under Indian consumer law.

12. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay results from an event beyond our reasonable control, including act of God, natural disaster, epidemic, fire, flood, civil unrest, act of terrorism, war, strike, government action or restriction, failure of telecommunications or internet infrastructure, or power outage.

Where a consultation cannot proceed for such a reason, we will offer you a rescheduled session or a refund in accordance with our Refund and Return Policy.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to this website, or decline to accept or continue any booking, at our discretion, including where we consider that you have breached these Terms or behaved inappropriately.

Where we decline a booking before a consultation has taken place, any amount paid for that consultation will be refunded in full.

We reserve the right to decline any consultation request, without being required to give a reason.

14. International Clients

Consultations are available to clients outside India. Fees for international clients are quoted and payable in USD.

If you are accessing this website or booking a consultation from outside India, you are responsible for compliance with any law applicable in your own jurisdiction. Nothing on this website is directed at any person in a jurisdiction where its publication or availability would be contrary to law.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, or with any consultation, are governed by the laws of India.

The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to your rights under applicable consumer protection law.

Before commencing any proceeding, you agree to contact us first so that we may attempt to resolve the matter informally.

16. General

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.

Waiver. A failure by us to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund and Return Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of this website and any consultation.

Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours to any successor or affiliate.

Language. Where these Terms are made available in translation, the English version prevails in the event of any inconsistency.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may amend these Terms at any time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking governs that booking. Where a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention.

Continued use of this website after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
